Our Mission

Why Plant A Church?

The chief end of man is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. The church is God’s design to showcase His glory to the world (Eph. 3:8-10) and also the primary institution where Christians continue to mature and have joy in Christ (Eph. 4:15-16; Phil. 1:25). Christ’s church is a pillar and buttress of the truth and serves as an aroma of Christ to God, one another, and the world (2 Cor. 2:14-16). So why plant a church? Because we want more people brought into the Kingdom (Col. 1:13-14) and to grow in their knowledge and love of Christ (Eph. 3:19).

Why Raleigh?

Church planting in the Triangle has not kept up with population growth and consistently ranks as one of the fastest growing metro areas in the U.S. In the last decade, the population of the Raleigh-Cary metro area has grown by 30% and is not expected to slow down.Raleigh needs more churches to declare the gospel of Jesus Christ. Furthermore, over 13% of Raleigh residents were born in a foreign country, including over 6,000 international students at NCSU. Many of these individuals come from countries with little or no access to the gospel.
